All refuse cans and trash, including but not limited to clothing, glass, metal, cans, newspapers, food and other items not able to be disposed of in the kitchen garbage disposal unit, shall be deposited in a tied trash bag into the trash room and designated for their containment. Notify management immediately if any items are too large for the chute for their disposal.

In order to conform with the requirements of the Department of Environmental Protection, all residents should separate recyclables as listed below for their general trash and place these items in the appropriate containers:

Newspaper - Newsprint and glossy inserts only in basket on floor. No magazines, catalogs or phone books to be placed in this container.

Miscellaneous Paper - This includes letters, envelopes, bond paper, copy paper, fax paper, colored paper, computer paper, carbonless forms and file folders in the hanging container on the trash room wall. Do not recycle air freights, envelopes, blueprints, carbon paper or paper towels.

Corrugated Cardboard - Corrugated cardboard boxes only and no other paper tubing, storage products or food boxes. Boxes should be broken down and placed in a manner as to not obstruct access for others.

The common elements and limited common elements of the building shall be kept free at all times of bottles, cans, boxes, newspapers and any trash of any nature. No items of any kind may be placed or left on the stair landings or in the hallways of the building.
